How to use it

1. Choose the PDF you want to split. Its page count appears.
2. Pick one file per page or cut at chosen positions. Writing "3, 7" cuts after page 3 and after page 7, giving three files.
3. Press Split PDF and save the resulting files one by one.

Your files are never uploaded

Most PDF splitting services upload your file to their servers first. For contracts and invoices — exactly the documents you split to share only a part of — that step is the one you would rather avoid.

This tool splits inside your browser. The PDF you pick never leaves your device. To confirm it, split once, disconnect from the network, and split again.

Writing the cut positions

• "3" → two files: pages 1–3, and 4 onwards.
• "3, 7" → three files: 1–3, 4–7, and 8 onwards.
• Cutting after the last page does not create an extra file — there is nothing after it.

What it does and does not do

• Pages are carried over as they are — text, images, and fonts come across unchanged. Nothing is flattened into pictures, so search and copy keep working.
• File names get zero-padded numbers — "_01", "_02", and so on, so they do not sort as "_1", "_10", "_2".
• Password-protected PDFs are not supported — the page tells you which file is affected.
• Your original file is left untouched.
